I have the flu and I feel really rotten, but I get the impression that some of the 'paddlers' who went on Sunday could be feeling even rougher. Any chance of some footage to cheer me up?

Hey Niall, why do I get the feeling that you are Gallently trying to PROTECT someone/s reputation by avoiding the tag " swimfish ". As for my unfortunate episode please drop it as the mental scars are still healing

As self appointed protector of all that is right and holy {see new logo/pic} and as you [ronan] were previously very quick to OUT {rat on, squeal on] past swimmers, you might give me assistance in nominating WHO should really be this months SWIMFISH.

Superman or whatever you are calling yourself these days The river was a lot higher than when you ran it so they have some excuse they also claim that they were looking for your Mojo and they all seemed to think it was in the same place and got out to look for it forgetting to secure there boats So it really is all your fault

Bernard,
When you say "swim", is a swim classifed by the amont of distance covered once out of the boat, is there a minimum amount or is it just being out of the boat ?

Well Mairead thats an interesting question, one which I will put forward at the next committeeeee meeting, I'm sure u are only posing this question on behalf of myself and the other less experienced club members who "SWIM" on a regular basis. Although as you are such a seasoned and Worldly experienced paddler, and looked up to senior club member, I am a little suprised you would ask such a question of such an UNEXPERIENCED paddler as myself. Or have you somthing specific in mind

For future reference, is it mandatory to rescue a drowning paddler? Not thinking of anyone in particular of course.
