Waterfalls 101
1. Approach drop slowly and carefully while gripping paddle with white knuckles
2. Stop paddling 5m from lip
3. Assume waterfall-master-position: Paddle loosely in one hand Spraydeck chord comfortably in other hand. Eyes firmly closed.
4. Drift over edge. Sideways if possible.
5. Throw multiple cartwheels at bottom of drop. Clearly display the white of your eyes (due to exitement of course, not panic)
6.1. Option A: Swim and swallow copious amounts of river water. Gather possessions. Say: "My deck popped on impact because unlike you lot I ran the main line" Ignore abuse and mockery from fellow paddlers.
6.2. Option B: Emerge from bottom of drop reasonably unscathed and inside boat. Take care not to act surprised. Say: "Who's your daddy #$%#$%%?!!" Do not allow voice to shake. Ignore abuse and mockery from fellow paddlers.
