To all the Rockies
Have a nice Christmas and a Happy New Year. Currently we are under 20 cm of snow, all fresh from 24 hours ago. I have had to shovel 3 times since yesterday. Well it sure will be a white Xmas. I am still based in Montreal and have seriously gotten in canoe polo since i have arrived, even bought a second hand boat from the rentals that were offered at the Edmonton World Championships. Our club is the only polo club in Montreal so we have to travel to Toronto or New York for our tournaments.. I am off to Sudbury (middle of nowhere Ontario) next month.. Summertime i hang out nearby at a slalom site and have had a few trips to the local rivers... I will be skiing tomorrow - Christmas Day as friends have a trial for x-cross country skiing near their house, thus not having to give out exorbitant prices for ski lifts.. I check up your site to stay aware of what your are planning. Was hoping to make it home in 2009 but it probably won't be till 2010 before i get there but hoping to spend a few weeks when i do.. so take care and say hi to all paddling buddies ciao Jean Paul

Great to hear from you, we were ski ing last year for christmas in bulgaria but kids didn't enjoy christmas there even though the ski ing was good crack. It has been cold here but no sign of snow. Water levels have dropped not much rain of late. What are you doing with yourself. Look after yourself. Regards Sean
