Hi Clara, It looks like another dry weekend , there is a good forecast for waves on the west coast though . On Saturday and Sunday in Sligo might be 2,5 metre swell. Anyone interested to give it a try on the ocean?

Hello there,
Looks like it's gonna be dry all over - anybody know if the Inny holds water? might be an alternative to Boyne/Liffey?

This Sunday it's mine and Clara's turn to be a trip leader. Clara can't make it. Bernard, Niall & Mairead are going down to Carlow. As an interest about suggested tomorrow's trip to Sligo was only slight I'm joining them and this is going to be club trip for tomorrow. I spoke to Bernard and he confirmed what he posted 'river is low but runnable'. It's an opportunity to try something new We are meeting in the West County Hotel Chapelizod 9.30. My contact #0862327365, Bernard # 0863534280.

Great trip today, Thanks Bartek. The really Hard Core rockie paddlers went and scouted the Dereen in Carlow (link in post above) would be well worth the trip 1 hr.ish, but we'll have to access the rest of u for paddle ability before we can organise a trip. If you want to b accessed contact: Garvan on 0876936596

The word is 'assess' If you want to 'access' me you'll have to get me drunk first I know for a fact that you had a paddle walk down your lovely new river, while myself and Ronan met some very nice beginners with whom we are thinking of forming a new club, which would have an age limit... so that rules you out.

Brendan After see your attempt at scouting on the Boyne there wasn't enough of us to keep you safe from having a look at the drops on this river. As for starting your own club you will be alright if you stay on the Liffey but soon they will want to go to the Boyne and then what will you do? ?. Niall

You could have just let me at it and I'd have been the first to run the whole river backwards. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
