. . . As per Claras' earlier e-mail, can you let us know by posting up if you can be around for rescue for the Junior Liffey Descent this Saturday, race starts at 1pm so meeting ready to go at 12:45pm at Lucan Weir.
If you wish to keep your shins/dry suit/pants in tact if standing in the weir I suggest from past experience to wear some shin-pads !

This is a great chance for those not used to rescue helping, to get involved as the water where we will be is not deep, turning boats upright and the odd pushing boats into eddys is the order of the day. Mairead is very good at setting this up and you are guarenteed to learn something. Plus with a release on the day we can do a trip down to the ICU.

With this amount of rain, Should be nice to do something else as well. Doesn't rain like that so often. could be fun to run some big wave-train on the Annamoe.

Bruno I hope Your intention by using this thread is to support the club in its effort to support the 'Junior liffey decent 'on Saturday, and THEN head to Wicklow. It is be great that you are supporting the club at Lucan weir this Saturday
